Ride The Bus

Preparations:

1. Lay out a deck of cards in a 4-3-2-1 or 5-4-3-2-1 pyramid formation on a table with the cards facing down.

2. The rest of the cards should be distributed evenly among all players.

Gameplay:

When the round starts, the card farthest to the right on the bottom row is flipped over. If a player has one or more matching cards, they can choose to place them on top of the card on the table. After placing matching cards, the player can assign one sip per card placed on the table. If a player matches cards higher up in the pyramid, the sips they can give out per card are multiplied by the row the card is on. (Example: On row 2, the player can give out two sips per matching card.) If a player matches an Ace, the number of sips can be multiplied by 2 again.

When the round ends, players count how many cards they have left in their hand, and the player with the most cards must drive the bus route! (If two or more players tie, the player with the highest card value loses.)

Driving the Route:

When the bus route is driven, all cards are collected and shuffled. The cards are again laid out in a pyramid formation, and the player driving the bus route starts at the bottom, flipping one card on each row. The goal is to avoid drawing a face card. If the player draws a face card, a new card is placed in the same spot, and the bus route restarts. The player must drink sips corresponding to the row the face card was on. (Example: Row 3 = 3 sips.)

If the player draws an Ace, the number of sips can be multiplied by 2 again.

The bus route is finished when the player reaches the top without drawing a face card.
